




















After our harvesting, processing and packaging, our mushrooms are exported globally, from South Africa, by air and sea freight.
Our mushrooms are available fresh, tunnel dried, I.Q.F frozen and in a salt brine. We have been continuously implementing the latest technology and equipment available and adhere to strict food safety management systems including the unique ability to trace our mushrooms from origin to destination.
Our wild mushrooms have the unique characteristic of being free of worms, parasites as well as nicotine, pesticides and heavy metals. We offer an industry leading microbiological analysis for every shipment of our product that complies to the highest international standards.
These women are involved in the harvesting of mushrooms during the rainy season which takes place from October to April. During this time, Africas Best Foods Ltd provides transport to and from the plantations for harvesting as well as purchases product from members of the local communities.
